This house has a few things we loved. We loved the iron work! That is reminiscent of Pittsburgh and we love that! We also love the fixtures. The porch! Oh the porch, we love these types of porches! You can sit out on them in the rain storms or whenever. But I love our porch here! We do all sorts of stuff on it. And I know that I would love a home where it was naturally built into it like these homes! We also love how the door is in a bit from the porch even! Depth, we love depth!
You can't really tell in this picture but the doors are actually cut at an angle. But we love the doors. The number next to the door. One thing we noticed was the numbers that were actually incorporated into the actual house! We love the light fixture above this one. And the hanging ferns! I never thought I'd say this, but we love these steps! I never thought I'd say that because they are wood, and wooden spoons give me the shivers just thinking about the feeling. Anyway we think these steps add such a character to this house! What is there not to love about this house?! I love the color, I love the stained glass window, I love the foliage around it. I love that it reminds me of San Fransisco! Which is one of my favorite cities! Mostly I love the color of this house!
Okay what is there not to love about this house either?! I love the color, the shape of the house, the french doors, and how it too is set in beautiful foliage. I guess I like that it feels modern, and yet grand ad the same time. I love the white against the brown! Oh it is awesome!
I love the door on this house! Who wouldn't love it though! I mean it is just cool! Reminds me of a castle. Also you can't really tell because of the light on, but there is an awesome window with a family crest on it. So cool!!!!
They built this part onto the existing house, but it looks so good! Love the cream they used! And who doesn't love Japanese Maples?!
Justin said he liked this house because he could imagine climbing the side of it at night when no one was looking. I don't believe he would have ever do it, but he insists he was a rebellion at some point when it came to adventurous things! (I think he is too good for that though) Look at the manicured landscaping!
I love pergola's. I love them even more when they are covered with vines. When spring first hit, this was so beautiful. it looks a little over taken right now, but at one point this looked so picturesque. I think they need a make over of the furniture though!
So the owner of this house just happened to walk up while I was taking a picture with my phone. Justin thought he might think we are taking pictures for an impending heist. lol. But he was so happy to talk to us about his beautiful home. The basket is such an awesome idea for MAIL!!! I love it! And I love the stained glass. An artist down the street did it for him after sitting out in nature for a few days! Reminds me of Frank Lloyd Wright and how his homes try to exemplify the beautiful surroundings.
If we had a smallish year like the houses here on this street, I'd have an awesome fence just like this! I think it is so pretty! Makes me feel like tying my horse to it!
Little features on a house seriously what we took notice of. Like this holder for a hose! Love it!
This is from the same house from right above. We loved this awesome windwo and the brick color and accent color. Truly such a pretty house! This guy is always out working on something.
And lastly this house just made us want to go and sit on the swing and wish our cares away!
Stay tuned for more house pictures in the future. We have one more street I want to take pictures of!
Dreams sure are fun!
