A little Project!

 So my mom gave us this desk, and I remember having this desk in our house since California which is when I was like 7. It had awfully ugly square pulls on it, and the paint job was not that wonderful. So much in fact that when it would get nicked you would see the previous two paint colors under it. I decided to redo it since I have the space downstairs to do it, and since it has been so nice out lately.

 Here is me looking beyond hot and very sweaty! I am sure all the cars enjoyed this loveliness as they drove by! Not. But I keep it real. I know I look awful, but isn't it refreshing to have someone actually post an ugly picture of themselves on a blog?! So I had to strip it and prime it and paint it! I found some awesome hardware on clearance at Target several months ago hoping that I would redo this desk sometime.

The amazingness that I call our desk!!! It seriously looks so much better than it did before! I am so happy to have breathed new life into this old desk! I took off the scrolls under the front drawer, to make it more modern! I think it turned out great. I no longer look at it as an eye sore in our room!
