Lylia's friend Bailey asked us to go on a walk with her at the arboretum, so we all went and walked around. It was so warm. No coats needed. Sorry the pictures are fuzzy. I had to take pictures with my phone because somehow someone (cough cough...Justin) misplaced our camera and we can't find it anywhere.
I really hate ants after seeing these sculptures. She could be in that movie, Honey I shrunk the kids. Now I know how they filmed it!
I really like this whale tale. The only thing that I find odd about it, is that it is in front of a pool. I know swimming, fishes goes hand in hand, but not at a pool. Right?!
A cool climbing tree.
Going through our small stash of Christmas decorations.
This is where you don't need to adjust the color on your screen. Our tree is in fact white, plastic and 4 feet tall. Its a long story, but I'll share part of it. We were going to buy this amazing tree off of craigslist and the people promised it to us, and we were going to go and pick it up and they never called me with their address. So I waited 4 hours, kept calling them leaving messages, and finally she called me back and said that they had sold it to someone else! I was really sad because it was a tall green tree! Well we didn't have much money at the time, so we decided we would go to Walmart and see what our money could buy us. It was either this tree or a purple one! LOL. So we choose this one! We will always look back at this Christmas as a simple Christmas where we are learning what things matter most. Hopefully that tree can be put in Lylia's room next year, and we will have a real tree! Here is for wishing!
They decorated the whole thing in about 10 minutes! LOL. Also Cookie our kitty and Megan our other kitty have taken all of the ornaments off at this point. So our tree is naked.
Our sweet girls!
Cookie the Christmas cat!
Justin doesn't like this picture, and I do, so I win! He just looks so relaxed and happy in it. It could be that he is holding chips or that I am taking his picture. Not sure which!? lol
Homemade fried rice because I love Chinese so much and it is so dang expensive to buy.
