The Strip District

Not at all how the name would suggest, but we decided a few weekends ago to go to the Strip District. It is down closer to the city by the river and is just a row of awesome shops and markets, and places to eat. We went for breakfast to a place that everyone has been telling us to try before we move. It was an cloudy beautiful day to walk around and we found some really fun things!
They have the Pittsburgh Popcorn company here. If I had known about this we would have taken Justin's parents when they were hear because they would have loved it! Every possible flavor you could imagine. Watermelon, pickle, chocolate, kettle corn and so many others. We got watermelon and chocolate. They make sure to fill it to the top!

Us taking a picture in the popcorn shop!

They had a meat district as well, where you could get any fish or meat you could imagine! I saw a lady looking at these, and asked Justin to take a picture. I have never seen these for sale. Frog legs anyone?

They had fish tanks you could catch a fresh fish and take it home.

We all had such a good time just walking around enjoying being a family on a Saturday morning. Days like this are so rare!

Meg and Justin smiling away!

That is right this cow is placed strategically over the beef for some awful reason. It talks to you and I have to admit it made me sad for when people buy beef. Why would you want to be looking at a cow and buying ground beef. Am I just weird?
