Well it's official, we got the resident internship/job at Bean Funeral
Homes in Reading Pennsylvania and we are very excited. We know we
couldn't have found this job without Heavenly Fathers help. Mr. Bean
invited us to Reading for the weekend where he put us in a nice hotel
for the night and spent most of the day showing us around the city and
his funeral homes. He has five funeral homes and they are all very well
taken care of. Mr. Bean has the nicest crematory in the state, and he
is a very adaptive and progressive funeral director who likes to keep up
with the changes in the way people like to do funerals. As you may
know many funeral directors are very traditional and not very willing to
change as the world gets more modern. But the fact is that times are
changing and people want different things than they used to. So it is a
good opportunity to work for him for many reasons. He basically offers
a lot more options for people who may not want the strictly traditional
funeral. We feel very blessed. We will be living in one of the
funeral homes for free which is a great blessing and a great perk of the
job! Here are some pictures, we can't believe we can live here for
such a good price, free!
Through the door at the top of the above stairs leads to this outside patio area, and then to the door to our apartment! Isn't this so cool!
Our entrance! Can you believe our entrance! No Cinderella tower for us! Love it!!!
This is the enclosed porch on the 2nd floor in the back that will be our dining room most likely! It has a heat stove for the winter, and is enclosed too! It is pretty awesome!
