You might be asking yourself why in the world is Kelly blogging about shoes. And what has the blogging world come to. I am not a person who is obsessed with shoes, or even really cares much about them, but this week I have discovered a little more about myself in the shoes that I pick. When I am feeling super skinny and cute, I wear heels. When I want to feel relaxed I wear flip flops if warm, and slippers if it is cold. But lately I've been wearing clogs. Well these clogs I've been wearing are black, they are clarks and so they are super comfortable. But they have kept me in a rut, and I don't want to be in a rut anymore. So with the support of a husband I told him I was in search of a comfortable pair of sandals. Exhibit on the right. Well while I was there I started to feel good about life, and being out with two girls all on my own. And I wanted something to keep the baby blues away, so I bought a mustard color sandal. The first day I wore them it was painful, as I had to warm my skin up to sandals, but I think this sandals will make me happy all summer long.
I just want to look back on this blog and remember that I found joy in the color of a shoe. I know that seems trivial and small to some and maybe even superficial , but there have been days in my life, when a reminder such as this, can make my world seem brighter and better. I just love knowing that joy is truly in the small and simple things, and I hope to never forget that a yellow shoe can make my day better, and a soft sandal too!
And yes I have very white skin! lol. And if you look close you can see my toe that goes off to an angle. I blame a horse for that one.

Cute, happy, snappy yellow sandals! I like them both. Sometimes it's the little things like bright colored sandals that can lift a mood....live on little yellow sandals! =D
