Being 40 weeks along and being nervous about having a big baby which would lead to another c section I received an ultrasound and was told that our sweet baby was probably around 10 lbs 14 oz and should consider having a planned c section rather than waiting for a v back which is what I really wanted. After a few tears I decided to have the c section knowing before hand the pain that would come. She came just three days later! It was weird walking in the OR and seeing all of the doctors and nurses waiting there for me to arrive. It really felt like I was walking into the next life for some reason. It was peaceful and calm and there were people waiting there for me. I know weird thing to compare it to, but I truly did have that feeling. I got on the table and we got started. It was about 37 minutes from the moment they began to when we heard her cry! As soon as she cried so did I! I was so nervous and scared and was so grateful to have Justin sitting right next to me. I asked him to sing me a song to help me not be scared and I stared in his eyes as we sang, "Families can be together forever" never before has this song touched my heart as much as it did in the hospital that day. I felt loved ones from the other side very near, and knew that all would be okay. We didn't have a name for our sweet girl for two days, and the name we did choose wasn't even one of the ones on our original name lists. How did we come up with it you might ask, well we went through all of our names and looked at her, and she did seem like a few to Justin and others to me. We wanted something that meant something to us both, and Wales means that to us both. So we picked a Welsh name that means "Little Pearl" and she is that! She is our little pearl. The recovery has been painful but not nearly as bad as the first time I had a c section. My mom has been here to help and I am so thankful to her! Not having to worry about Lylia helped a lot, and I know that Lylia loved having her grandma around to play!
This is the first time Justin and I got to see Megan. The one thing I did like about the planned c section was that I did my hair and makeup before going. A little surreal.
Daddy holding his new baby girl!
My mom and Lylia seeing Megan for the first time!
Lylia loves her baby sister and is so proud of being a big sister!
My sweet girls!
Nothing is better than these three people!

I Loved all of the pictures and clicked on every single one! I can't believe how much she looks like Lylia did when she was a baby, they could seriously be twins!! She is so beautiful and I loved the name Megan before I knew what it means, but now that I know, I love it even more, how sweet!
I love how excited and happy Lylia is in every single picture. She looks like she could burst from pride. :)
