A few random moments

A picture of Lylia and I taken probably two weeks ago.

Justin started his restorative art class which he loves! What I love is that he gets to do homework while spending time with me watching a movie or something on tv. We haven't had that kind of luxury in sometime so it has been really nice! Although I still laugh whenever he shows me a nose and asks me what I think. lol. It has been interesting to learn about how they have a rhythm and a reason to it. I haven't found an ear on my table yet, and I am glad because although I would figure out that it is fake, his sculptures really do look realistic. I'll have to take a picture of his next one.

Lylia has been busy with preschool. The first two weeks went great! Everyday she asked for a special project, so I've had to be a bit more creative. I think this week Lylia gets a baking lesson. We cook together all the time, but this time I think I will make it more like a lesson. She is getting so good at cutting, pasting things, coloring in the lines, tracing things and she loves to paint! If she could paint everyday this little girl would! I'm just not sure I can handle it everyday. She hasn't gotten any anywhere but I still like to limit it.

Apple stamping! A must when you are learning about the letter A!

We also talk about the weather everyday too! This was one crazy morning of weather, we had a little bit of sun, clouds, rain and snow. The weather here has been very out of the ordinary. Usually it is just bitter cold, but last week we had two days in which we went to the park in sweatshirts.

We are only 11 days away from our due date of February 17th, and if she doesn't come on her own, I'll be getting a c-section on the 19th. I am getting so excited and nervous all at the same time. I know it will be hard at times, but I am excited to have two little girls to love! It is truly so hard to imagine loving someone as much as I love Lylia. If you ask Lylia what we should name the baby she says "Pickle" "Sandwich" "Twila" and "Easter Bunny." As you can see she will have no part in naming the baby! We still don't have a name picked out, but we have a little list that we plan on taking to the hospital and seeing which name we thinks fits her best. We will post pictures of our little girl when she arrives!

I'm glad you're having so much fun with preschool! Your activities look great, and I'm sure Lylia is thrilled to be able to stay home and learn with Mommy all day.

Keep hanging in there! Those last weeks of pregnancy are the worst. I hope she comes on her own, but if not, February 19 is a pretty awesome day for a birthday! (I know that from experience!) I'm sure you know how much I worried about Elizabeth and how she would come, but afterwards, I was just so happy to have that beautiful little girl in my arms that everything else just didn't matter. You're going to do wonderfully, and I'm excited to see her cute face in just a few weeks!
