More fun posts please

First off I wish I had more fun posts! Maybe I should do something about that! lol. I should be like my sister and do some kind of decorating project. I did start sewing on my table runners yesterday, and half way through realized I was doing it wrong, and had to pick out everything. lol. I laughed the whole time as I could hear my mom's voice when I was younger telling me that everyone has to pick things out. I'll take pictures tonight. I iron tonight and then sew them together to make my blocks, and then sew those together to make my runners. I am determined to get them done in a few days so I can start a baby project just as soon as I find out on the 21st if it is a girl or a boy.

Here is a Justin and Lylia update! Justin is working hard before he starts school on the 26th! He is excited to get started. He has been biking and thinks that many of the hills in our area are not bike friendly. lol, I could have told him that. He likes the parking lot down the street the most. We had Navajo tacos last night and they were SOOOO GOOD!!! Lylia's favorite movie is a barbie movie that my mom got her months ago. She loves to get all of her blankies and put them in a pile on the couch and then calls it "Her nest." Yesterday she said the funniest thing ever. She was sitting in her nest and Justin was sitting next to her. I was sewing. She says to Justin, "Daddy can you rub my back?" He says sure. So he starts to rub her back. She then says, "Daddy you have to either choose me or the ipad, you can't do both. You have to choose me or the ipad. Which one do you choose?" We both started cracking up and he said, "That is an easy choice I choose you!" She then explained how he can't concentrate on her if he is looking at his ipad. Oh boy I was dying laughing. Good times! We watched Star Wars last night, and its nice to just be a family enjoying a good movie.

I liked your Lylia story. Kids are smart and they know when we are not paying attention. :) I hope Maddy never asks John to choose or he might pause for a second too long! lol and bytheway, i love your blog, but i do forget to check it sometimes because it's private, sorry about that. i put it up in a more visible place so that i'll remember to check. love ya

Lylia is such a cute little girl. I am excited that you are finding out what you are having next week. I can't wait to hear. It sounds like you guys are really trying hard to do what's right. We are on the same track right now, but not doing so hot. You are a shining example.

I just wanted you to know I was here and love reading about your family!
