Justin and I did our first day of waking up early and reading together. That is right after these 4 years we are finally trying to be better! lol. So we thought we would share with you what we learn as we go. Today the scripture that struck is both was:
Matthew 5: 43-48
Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love they neighbour, and hate thine enemy./ But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;/ That you may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust./ For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not eve the publicans the same?/ And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? /Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
It was funny because Justin and I were both thinking of our bosses! lol. I think we can all learn from this lesson, that we need to love each other and try to remember that they are just as much loved as we are by Heavenly Father. So what did we say we were going to do today to make this part of our daily lives? Well Justin is going to share with his co-workers what we read this morning and tell them he wants to try and like his bosses and not to talk ill of them. I said that I wouldn't get annoyed with drivers today. lol. I know good one right... not really, but maybe throughout the day it will evolve into something better, but for this morning this is the only thing that came into mind.
Anyway I better go, but check back often because we are studying every morning! And we are going to post pictures soon. I am not feeling nearly as sick lately so life might just begin. I wish I had a radio to blast at work and dance in my office/cube. I am pretty sure it would wake everyone else up too!

you guys are good. and i'm so glad your trip home made you feel so much better. the post before that one just made me so sad for you and you feeling so sick. i didn't know about the heart stuff, did they figure it out and are things okay? i wish i could be closer to help clean up and make you feel like you get things done. it sounds like you're feeling better, so hopefully things will start getting done again soon, but until then, don't beat yourself up, it's not good to beat up pregnant ladies. :) p.s. I was just thinking, want me to come up sometime after the baby is born to help out? I know Mom will come to help, but if you want another pair of hands another time, let me know. love you
What a perfect scripture to read at this particular time! It's hard to pray for our enemies and to do good to those who persecute us. But I know that it works! Good job:o)
