Cat is out of the bag!

Justin and I are so excited that we are expecting a new sweet little baby to join our family! After a year of trying to have a baby, and finally deciding that we were going to have to wait until after school was all done, we got a very big shock when on our anniversary we found out that we are expecting a sweet baby!

My first reaction was tears. Not of joy but rather, oh what are we going to do. And then after talking to a very sweet kind sister, was told that she was excited for me, and that somehow everything would work out. Sometimes babies are planned, and other times not at all. This one was sort of both. This morning I got to see the baby in an ultrasound, and saw the heart flutter. It finally feels real. That is part of the reason why I couldn't tell anyone. Although feeling the affects of being pregnant, it still was such a shock to me that I didn't believe it. Our sweet baby is due February 19thish. We are so excited for this great blessing to our family! We love our Lylia and are excited to have another sweet baby to wrap in our arms! So soon this blog will say the four of us!

I didn't realize I let it slip in a previous post, so good job to Melissa for reading every word with such love!

We couldn't be happier for you! I know it came as a BIG surprise and not at the time you were hoping for, but I know that Heavenly Father is keenly aware of you and your family, and somehow things will work out. Move forward in faith, nothing wavering and He will guide you.

So funny that you outed yourself on your blog. I am still laughing over that. But I am glad that you got to hear the heartbeat and that things are starting to feel real and exciting! Babies are the best, I love my little guy soooo much.

Yay! February 19 is an awesome birthday. (I happen to know from experience.) Just don't be like my parents, who were like, "We already gave you everything we wanted to give you for Christmas, so you don't get any presents." :)

I think that first time you see and/or hear the baby always has you on the edge of your seat. I was really excited that I was pregnant with Elizabeth, but it wasn't until I heard the heartbeat and saw her little body on the ultrasound that I was willing to start hoping. It's such a relief to see them growing the way they're supposed to.
