University of Pittsburgh Through My Eyes

I am going to call this section of writing, the Pitt Experience because for me that is just what it has been. It has been an experience already. I am able to ride the bus to and from work and it takes only 20 minutes at the most. And it is free, and worry free. Today although I forgot my lunch and had to decide if I should run back upstairs for it. I decided I didn't want to go hungry so decided to run up back to the apartment. The sad thing is that I totally feel, broke my toe nail completely off, scrapped my ankle and gave myself some hefty bruises. One on my knee and the other on my ankle. It is okay though because it matches all my other bruises from moving. But I sure should not have worn a skirt yesterday. I felt self conscious all day. lol Oh and I will be taking pictures of our apartment next. Baby steps! This was just move convenient to take pictures of because I have an hour lunch all to my lonesome self.

This is the address of where I work!

I really love the light fixtures at this school!

The building I work in use to be an old Masonic Temple! It is gorgeous inside!

I am surrounded by awesome buildings. This one I think I will explore today!

Okay I seriously love abstract things like this.

Hydrangeas are my new favorite flower/ plant. These are all over the place here and I love how beautiful they look!
The building next to ours. I love all the detailed stone work!

This is in the cathedral of learning. It is pretty much the coolest building ever! It reminds me of harry potter! Oh I love history!

Who doesn't love ceilings like this?!

It is just a huge room full of these gorgeous vaulted ceilings.

I'll let you enjoy these without explanation.

Outside the Cathedral of Learning.

The outside of the building I work in.

My office/ cube. It has a window... I am moving up in the world!

A beautiful church on campus.

This is one of my favorite things. It is actually a window. These are in my office so I get to enjoy these awesome windows through out the day.
