Today the zoo was free, so we decided to go! We really wanted to see the Elephants since Lylia makes the best elephant noises, but they were inside. So we will have to go again to see them. Her favorite thing she did get to see was the monkeys! She does this little monkey dance and says "monkey...Monkey...Monkey." It was really cold and it was snowing a little bit, but it was a lot of fun any
way. It was just so nice to spend the morning with my family. And it is really nice that it is only 5 minutes away. Here are some of the pictures. We will 
post videos later.Lylia responded the most to the monkeys and the pig look alike. She also meowed whenever we saw some king of tiger or cougar!
We then came home and had some hot chocolate with whip cream, and soup and a sandwich. It was a wonderful morning!

What's this??? You who hate the zoo went to the zoo?? :) It's fun when you have kids to go the zoo. I never liked the zoo until we took Maddy and she loved it! Glad to see you guys had such a great time. I love the pictures of Lylia on the train too with that HUGE grin on her face. That was my favorite!

I miss those free days at the zoo. I think of them often down here, wishing we had them. Of course I forget that you are freezing up there when the free days are available!
I have a grandma pass, so we can go free any time!
What fun zoo pictures! How fun that it was free zoo day, but what a downer that it was too cold for the elephants :/ So glad to see that you are taking advantage of the fun things to do in your area.
