Justin and Lylia playing with the tree. Lylia loves to touch it!

Lylia's newest trick is sitting on her own. She still likes to play on her back though. She is in no rush to move!

Justin bought me this cook book for my birthday. We decided to try and make something really new. It is homemade mac and cheese with mushrooms and blue cheese. Justin says he wants it for his birthday dinner. We felt so fancy we took a picture!

Here is our gingerbread making process! Justin kept sneaking cookies! lol. We actually made the gingerbread! What a neat experience. We didn't know if it would actually work but it did!

This is our finished product. Jennifer kept teasing us because when we bought our candy we knew exactly what it would be used for.

This is the front yard with flakey our snowman along with the north pole.

This is the back yard with a tree. Can you tell that it was my idea. lol.

We took a family picture before church yesterday in front of our tree. Lylia didn't seem to want to look at the camera.

My mom sent me this outfit for my birthday. Here is Lylia posing with me! Thanks again mom. Its always nice to have a new skirt!

Here is my quilt that I am working on. It was supposed to be my Christmas quilt this year, but I just barely finished piecing it in order to sew it together. It turned out better than I thought though.

Last month relief society had a craft day. My mom paid for me to make these two crafts! The turkey and the Snowman! Thanks again mom. It was a really really nice break.

Great pictures! I LOVE the quilt! the gingerbread house is cute too. I always wanted to do one, but never did. You girls are good! Lylia and Justin are both so cute. VERY nice post!
I just went back and read everything and had a 2nd look at the pictures. Justin looks so happy in all the pictures. You are such a cute family. That Lylia cracks me up. She looks so serious most of the time. I love it when you catch her smiling. I love her looking up at you in your 'Christmas' picture!
Wow, that gingerbread house is amazing!! And so is your quilt! I'm glad to see you guys have been celebrating in style :).
Wow, you are so ambitious!! A quilt, gourmet dinner, gingerbread house from scratch...The quilt is amazing, someday I'm going to learn to sew. (or at least I keep telling myself that)
