Our 1st Anniversary!

It was a rough day for our anniversary. I woke up in such bad pain that we ended up spending most of our day at the doctor's office making sure that the pain was normal post c-section pain. And it was. I have to admit that I never thought that the recovery period could be so uncomfortable. I am use to being able to do all sorts of things, and I never realized how much having a sore stomach could slow me down. I think it is a good lesson for me to learn though, because I depend on other's now, which through most of my childhood I was the independent sort and still am I guess. Well anyway Justin was a huge help and helped me too and from the doctor's and then helped me around the house. I don't know how single mother's do it! We went to dinner at the Red Butte Cafe, and I have to admit I never want to eat there again. I didn't have much of an appetite anyway due to the pain, but I didn't think they had that much to choose from. So we bought some chocolate cake dessert, and went home and watched Yours Mine and Ours, the old Lucile Ball movie. We both laughed and had a good time watching that. Here is a picture of the present I made/ got for Justin. On the front it says Flatland and on the back it is a picture of someone doing a big trick. Justin got me my favorite lotion from Victoria Secret, and then gave me a wonderful foot massage! The day sure didn't start how I would have liked but by the end of the day it was nice to just cuddle with my husband!
